End of Summer Bash

On Saturday, September 2nd Pier Park will be the place to be for the End of Summer Bash! This all day event will have something for everyone. The event will kick off with a fishing rodeo and will end with a spectacular fireworks display. A special thank you to the Grosse Pointe Farms Boat Club for partnering with us to help make this event possible. This event is for Grosse Pointe Farms residents and up to 2 guest per park pass.

Fishing Rodeo
Check In Begins at 8:00am. During Check-In everyone is welcome to join some donuts, juice and coffee. Each child participating will receive a free tub of worms to use for fishing.
Fishing Rodeo begins at 9:00am-10:30am. All fish caught must be measured at the pavilion and fish must be alive to be counted. Any fish caught prior to 9:00am or after 10:30am won't be counted. All fishing must be done from shore and there is no fishing allowed in the Harbor. At the conclusion of the fishing rodeo we will provide free hot dogs to all participants and award prizes for First Fish Caught, Largest Fish & Largest Game Fish to a boy and girl.
Beverage Tent
The Grosse Pointe Farms Boat Club will be selling drink options from 12:00pm-9:00pm. The brewery used for this event will be Dragonmead. Drink tickets are $7 and can be paid for using cash, Venmo or credit card. The Beer Tent will be located in front of the Community Building.

Corn Hole Tournament (3:00-6:00pm)
3 on 3 Basketball Tournament (4:00pm)
Food Truck
Hearth, Wood & Fire Pizza will be onsite serving wood fired pizzas (pepperoni or cheese) for $10.00.
Bands
The Klik will rock the pavilion from 1:00pm til 4:30pm playing a variety of classic rock music from the 70's, 80's and then from 6:00pm-9:30pm the Oneders will take the party til the fireworks light up the sky over Lake St. Clair by playing music from the 90's and 2000's.
